7th Grade recently took a field trip to Harrisburg, PA. The students had a wonderful visit to the beautiful State Capital Building as well as touring the PA State Museum and Civil War Museum. They also had an opportunity to spend a couple of hours at Hershey Chocolate World.
Upon our return I thought it would be a fun opportunity to re introduce “Pop Art”. After we talked about Andy Warhol and his Pop Art movement, I asked the students to select a Hershey item. With the help of I pads students researched and created a pencil drawing. I primarily wanted them to focus on a unique composition.
Here are some of the results!
