MTC is a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, and accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.  Our curriculum follows the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s guidelines and exceeds national curriculum standards. Our teachers are highly qualified, state certified, and many hold advanced degrees.

MTC students consistently score above the national average in math and reading in the Terra Nova standardized achievement tests. Our faculty to student ratio is 1 to 15 with an average class size of 22.  Our curriculum includes Religion, Integrated Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Mathematics.  The Honors Mathematics Program begins at the Intermediate level. Technology, Music, Art, Spanish, Physical Education and Library instruction begin in Pre-kindergarten and continue through 8th grade.

MTC ’s differentiated instruction, cooperative and flexible grouping, and multi-disciplinary project based lessons allow teachers to meet students' individual learning needs.  The Early Childhood Program is holistic. It is developed by using a hands-on discovery approach based on multi-sensory activities which are part of a specific theme unit.

Our Values

Our core values are grounded in the teachings of Christ. We prioritize integrity, kindness, respect, and service to others, fostering an environment where students learn not only academically but also the importance of living a virtuous and faith-filled life. Through regular participation in Mass, prayer, and service projects, we guide students to embody these values in their everyday actions.

Our Beliefs

We believe an MTC education should be a transformative experience that nurtures mind and soul. We hold that faith is an integral part of learning and that every child is called to grow in their relationship with Christ. Through sacramental preparation, daily prayer, and involvement in liturgical events, we guide our students to a deeper understanding of their faith and encourage them to live it out in the world.

Students

We believe that every student is called to experience the love of Jesus Christ in a nurturing, faith-filled environment. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, we cultivate a community where students are not only encouraged to excel academically but also to grow in their relationship with God. Our school fosters a sense of belonging, kindness, and respect, where each child’s unique gifts are celebrated and developed. Through prayer, service, and a commitment to living the values of the Gospel, we prepare our students to become compassionate, responsible, and faith-driven leaders in the world.

Organization

We will achieve true stability in both our people and the budget through sustainable enrollment and robust development activity. Our trusted brand will be highly visible within the local community in both sight and mind. The administration of our school will be collaborative and creative, thanks to an MTC Leadership Team led by a dynamic Principal.

Educators

We will employ teachers who are engaged in the planning and continuity of the school, recognized for their hard work and dedication, and afforded opportunities for professional development. They will create a caring environment where students are respected and nurtured, pushed toward extracurricular activity and excited about service to those in need. Our educators will also foster a growth mindset, inspiring students to embrace challenges with resilience and curiosity, while promoting a sense of responsibility and leadership both in the classroom and beyond.

Community

We will “boil over” with volunteerism creating a “parental workforce” who will collaborate with faculty and the administration to create the school environment that they want for their children. We will have a connected and active alumni network who will provide a link to the past and help fund and support this vision for the future.

Faith

We believe in a love of Jesus Christ and a faith-filled environment inspired by the Holy Spirit. At Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School, we seek to cultivate a deep sense of spiritual growth in each student, encouraging them to live their faith in everyday actions. Through regular participation in Mass, prayer, and the sacraments, we guide students to develop a personal relationship with God.

Collaboration

We believe in a community that values teamwork and collaboration among administration, faculty, parents and students for the common good of the school.

Academic Rigor

We believe in a place where students experience a challenging curriculum and are given the tools needed for academic success. By fostering a love of learning and critical thinking, we empower students to reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers provide individualized support, ensuring that each child’s unique strengths are nurtured while they develop the skills necessary to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Inclusion

We believe in a school where students and families of all faith and ethnic backgrounds are welcome to share the blessings of a Catholic education.
