Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School (MTC) provides a Christ-centered education that nurtures students’ faith and prepares students to face the challenges of today’s rapidly changing society. Faith is integrated into all areas of education through participation at Mass, liturgical events, sacramental preparation, daily prayer and service projects.
MTC students consistently score above the national average in math and reading in the Terra Nova standardized achievement tests. Our faculty to student ratio is 1 to 15 with an average class size of 22. Our curriculum includes Religion, Integrated Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Mathematics. The Honors Mathematics Program begins at the Intermediate level. Technology, Music, Art, Spanish, Physical Education and Library instruction begin in Pre-kindergarten and continue through 8th grade.
MTC ’s differentiated instruction, cooperative and flexible grouping, and multi-disciplinary project-based lessons allow teachers to meet students’ individual learning needs. The Early Childhood Program is holistic. It is developed by using a hands-on discovery approach based on multi-sensory activities that are part of a specific theme unit.
